a&o achieves Virtual Iron Authorised Partner status
25 February 2009: a&o systems + services UK Ltd. announce that they have achieved Authorised Partner status with Virtual Iron, allowing them to further develop capabilities and portfolio offerings in the server virtualisation arena.
Virtualisation from a&o enables consolidation of Servers, Storage, Desktops and Applications. Organisations can both reduce the amount of power, hardware and space used and reduce the cost of operating their IT services. Their partnership with Virtual Iron will provide users with the ability to migrate physical servers into virtual infrastructure to achieve the benefits of consolidation, capacity management, rapid provisioning and high availability.
